General Sani Abacha (20 September, 1943 - 8 June, 1998) was the president of Nigeria from 1993 to 1998.

Abacha was accused of many human rights violations. He is unpopular with most Nigerians.

Abacha died at age 54 died of a heart attack at his villa.
